On November 16th our class lost Edward J. "Eddy" McAllister.

Hey everyone!

Im still in recovery mode.  Not sure about Wayne, he probably is too. 
I want to thank every person who donated to the reunion auction.  You all are the best and helped to make it a success.  Your participation has spawned more people to want to help and contribute moreso and that is worth alot!!!

Thanks to everyone that also helped with the logistics of putting the reunion weekend together.  Every little and big bit that was done by other than Wayne or myself, was truly help appreciated and needed.  Thanks so much!!

Lastly, we felt that the upload of photos is going so well, that we decided not to do a memory disc this time and to save the money for the next reunion. Yes I know we would sell the discs, but so many had pics, we thought it might be a mute point. 
I think we will do even better with keeping in contact since we are now on Facebook as well.  Just try to remember if you move or change emails or phone numbers, we need to know also.

Wayne and I discussed things and decided that the venue in which to see pics from the reunion right here on this site is working very well with you all being able to upload your pics that were taken.  By all means, those of you who got polaroid shots feel free to scan them and upload them if they look ok. 

Im sure we will be able to think of other ways to generate funds for the next reunion and the upkeep till then.  This reunion cost us about $1000 after all the donations were counted.  We didnt make quite as much in donations, plus the economy the way it is, well, we all know its not easy nowadays.....I think we can agree we all had a great time.
The $1000 included the waiters/waitresses and bartenders, plus some of the auction items-decor, as well as the postcards and postage to send them.  Thats about it. 

Im sure we will be able to make the next one better yet, WITH LOTS MORE ROOM HOPEFULLY.  However when the time comes that we ask for suggestions or ideas, that you all locally go ahead and contribute some for us to consider.  I say locally because of the fact that you are there everyday and know whats around and can do some of the legwork.

We are trying to come up with an easy way for all to donate online to the reunion fund and as soon as thats set up, we will let you know post haste!!

Thanks again for all that many of you did to help with the great turnout.  Even your compliments drive us to keep trying harder.

Ellen, Kit, Brian, Lee, to you all, I was soooooooo very pleased that you were enjoying the fruits of a reunion without the work.  You never did that before!!!!  lol!!!  Im so happy you were able to be guests and enjoy it all.....We will continue to ask for you opinions and suggestions as the years pass.  You are still experts!!
