From James:I've been in Colorado since 1997. I moved here to work for one of the leading green design and consulting architecture firms in the world, and in 2001, started my own one man architecture practice, specializing in sustainable, or green, design. I design mostly custom solar homes and additions, and have had my designs, as well as my writing and photography published in books and magazines.
In my personal life, I love hiking and camping in the mountains, am a world percussionist, have written a few songs, and love to sing. I am also on a committed personal growth path, always looking to deepen my connection with source and Nature, and expand my consciousness in a variety of ways. Living in Boulder has been the best decision I ever made. I felt like I was home for the first time in my life when I moved here.
I have been married twice, and divorced twice. Currently dating, which is interesting at 57... No kids, and no longer have dogs, but will again someday...

Tomorrow July 15 is our 15th anniversary. My wife Nisi (Denise) and I have one daughter, Destiny. Desi is 9 and a joy. I have three older children Brandon (26) who lives in Seoul, Korea and teaches English. Amber (25) is working on her Bachelor's degree in Moline and works at a veterinary clinic in Davenport. And our youngest son Ryan (23) teaches/coaches tennis in the northern suburbs in Chicago.

I work at NMFF supporting their electronic medical record. Nisi starts a new position at Scholastic this fall selling class room books, she previously sold magazines.

Since I left West I married twice, only divorced once. Whew, it was close. Meanwhile I served 8 years in the USAF and 4 more in the Army National Guard. I was able to use that Spanish Mr. Armstrong taught us in Honduras a couple of times. And then a lot of other inconsequential jobs until Nisi straightened me out. ;-)
